Purpose of Radio Rotary

In RadioRotary’s weekly 30 minute interviews, two entertaining professional radio hosts, Sarah O’Connell and Jonah Triebwasser, chat with Rotarians and non-Rotarians, people who live by Rotary’s motto, “Service above Self.”  Guests are humanitarians who work on many levels in programs that address such important issues as poverty, education, health, the environment, and employment and vocations.  Each interview provides timely information that focuses on improving the quality of life for everyone, both here and abroad.  Our guests’ stories of their humanitarian work are uplifting, showing how caring people strive to do good in the world .

Woven throughout the program is the passion and spirit of Rotary, whose optimism is reflected in the belief that our humanitarian endeavors will build goodwill and better friendships in our community, our nation, and our world, thus contributing to peace and understanding.

RadioRotary is one important way for the public to gather information helpful to their daily lives.  It is also hoped that the program will encourage others to consider joining  humanitarian efforts to make the world a better place.
